I got struck by yet another random idea at work today. That idea is, if I decided I needed a break from all the serious effort I put into my hacks, I could try making a sequel to Afro Man (Afro Man 2: Electric Boogaloo). Except, you know, one that doesn't suck.

I've had a strange itch to post something (anything) here for the last few days, but I haven't really had anything to say. Well, actually, the only thing I've had so far is the revised team list for Soccer Challenge, but I'm still short two teams, and it probably only interests me anyway. I think my post about difficulty with titles helped something. After I went to bed last night, a possible title came to mind for the comic: Replay Value. I don't think I'm entirely sold on it, but it's workable for the time being.

Part of me is kicking myself for thinking about dropping S.M.I. in favor of a comic focused on the used game store, and it's mainly for one large reason: I'm practically beating my head against the desk over the title. I can't think of a good one ( Read more... )

I don't know if it's because finals are frying my brain or what, but I almost want to try doing a comic of some sort with the characters I've come up with for NADA III. I'm not sure how long I'd be able to sustain it as an ongoing project, though. Then again, I'm not sure how long I'd be able to sustain Real Ninja as an ongoing project, either. ( Read more... )

I finally decided to try whipping up some sort of hypothetical title screen for NADA III. It uses the game's default palette since the main point right now is designing something that looks good and fits within the screen layout.
